FOR 5762: A Research Unit to understand
 organismal proteostasis regulation.

Picture
The Research Unit 5762 aims to understand how proteostasis—the balance of protein synthesis, folding, and degradation—is regulated beyond individual cells. This collaborative initiative brings together leading scientists from the University Hospital and University of Cologne, the University of Konstanz, and the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research. Together, they seek to uncover the intercellular mechanisms that maintain proteostasis across different tissues, shedding light on its roles in both health and disease.

The Research Unit 5762 is funded by the
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG)
